Limit each user to 1 reply to specific threads?

I run a regional firearm website, NorthwestFirearms.com. On this site we have reviews for local businesses in the form of a vBulletin poll, as well as the ability for users to comment on their experiences in the thread. In order to prevent arguing in the thread, I'd like to make it so users are restricted to posting only one reply in these threads. Is this possible?

Is it possible? I'm sure it is. Do I know of a modification already written that will do this for you? No, I don't. However, you may want to try a search yourself - try some terms like "limit*" or "thread*" in "all mods" "titles only" and see what is out there.
