Warn User That Thread Is Old?

Is there a mod to warn the user they are replying to an old thread?

We're looking for a way to prevent users from bumping up old threads, rather than simply closing them.

There's a very old mod (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=114497) for 3.5 that did just that. However, I don't think anyone has taken it and upgraded for 3.8.
