Mod to disable url on member profiles per usergroup?

Does anyone know if there is a mod or edit that will allow me to disable to "home page" url field for individual usergroups? I'm getting a ton of spammers and would like to disable that feature for newbies.

Do you want a quick & dirty or a fool-proof solution?

A quick & dirty one would beo to change memberinfo_block_contactinfo, memberinfo_block_statistics
