I have recently developed a strange error after the following sequence of events..
1. Got Hacked
2. Rebuilt forum on a subdomain
3. Used impex to copy over posts, threads etc
4. moved forum back to original domain
Everything is working perfectly except for 'New Posts' (do=getnew) and one particular forum. Both lead me to the page you can see on the attachment.
I know there are new posts on the forum and i have over 2000 threads in the effected forum.. just incase you were wondering ;)
Any ideas what could have caused this, or even better.. any ideas how to fix it?

At what point did you start getting the problem - after step 2, 3, or 4? Have you tried disabling all your modifications? Have you looked at your error_logs? What have you done to troubleshoot this?

Lynne,
Powlo isn't the only one. I discovered I had the same problem with my site. I don't know my site got hacked but I did notice some unsavory user names which I immediately banned a few days ago. I did briefly disable all plugins and test. The "getnew" posts feature seems to work at that point.
Is there anyway to tell if I was hacked? What should I look for? anything else you can tell me would
be very appreciated.
EDIT: Further testing finds that my introduction forum is experiencing the same issue. I tried going into the maintenance section in vb and rebuilt everything that seemed to make sense but that did not resolve the problem.
Thanks

Powlo,
Do you have the Cyb-AUTO Reply mod installed?
here is the link:

If so try disabling it and see if it resolves your issue. I had this addon installed and put 2 and 2 together when I found that my Introductions forum was having the same issue. I had that mod setup to do auto replies for new members and it was messing that forum up.
There appears to be an update for that mod. I may give it a shot later.
Good luck
