Was looking to see whats going on, and came up with this
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.christsgarden.com&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0
I'm not a techie person, I do the best I can, and no idea what to do to fix this stuff???

Does your forum work? Don't worry about making it 100% compliant.

it works, but a few people complain that its very slow. Those on dial up especially and some that use vista and IE together.
For me it works perfect.

Ads are going to slow down a dial up connection. Vista and IE? Why? IE is at best, 20% compliant with W3 standards. Suggest to your users they use a better browser (Such as FireFox or Opera).

Yeah I have, some say they rather suffer... I hate that they can't use it on my site, but they can on others.

I'd suspect it's something on their machine. I just fired up IE on my notebook and was able to surf your site just fine. (Vista Home Premium 64 and IE 7)
Honestly it's unlikely that the compliance issues are the problem, so I wouldn't worry about that. If anything it would be related to the graphics or (as mentioned) the ads.
