I was on a forum that had you put your name in the postbit. ( i think thats what it is called. Under the "username") Is it an addon or does VBulletin have a setting for that?

There is an addon for it:

or they might have done it the same way i did on mine by creating a new profile field and then put:

<if condition="$post['field9']">$vbphrase[real_name] $post[field9]</if>

or something similar in the postbit template.
