Customer User Titles

I am a member of www.mousebuzz.com and on there they have it set that you can have a customer User Title once you reach 1500 posts. Is there a hack to set this up? I want to set it up for my users on my forum.

You can do this by creating a new usergroup that allows custom titles and then using the promotion system.

1, Create the new group with the same permissions as the main group but allow them custom titles.
2, Set up a promotion so when members in the main usergroup get x amount of posts it moves them to the new group.
