How do I schedule posts in advance?

Hi all,

If I'm going to be away from the boards for a few days, what's the best way to schedule posts in advance? IE, I'd like to post while I'm not there.

You would have to write a cron job (Scheduled Task) to do that. I know users have talked about doing this before, but I can't remember if they actually posted the code they wrote.
