Is there a way to change the "Notices" text to "Breaking News" text. That'd be more relevant for my sports forum. I found a great way to utilize the Notices feature. But, it's really not a notice.
Any help would be appreciated...thanks.. :D

Search languages and phrases for "notices" both variable name and text and edit the phrase to how you like.

Thanks...Wierd, my notice manager isn't even working. I did a test one with the new test and they don't show. everything is correct. it's active, etc...

Make sure you have the notices code in the navbar template.
Make sure its active for your usergroup (or all usergroups)
Make sure there aren't any dates set (and if there is, make sure its valid dates :D)
Those are just a few fast ones to check ;)

Try this:
Create a new style with no parent:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save
Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style and see if your Notices show up.
