Why is vBulletin.org still running on version 3.6 ?

I was just wondering why is vBulletin.org still running on version 3.6 as we are already in version 3.8.2 ! Shouldn't this site too keep up with the newer vBulletin versions ?

It's heavily modified, and they got behind on updating, and have apparently decided to wait until 4.0 to update.
