Has anyone written a mod that will allow someone to post to a vbulletin section by sending an email.

The school that I have built a forum for, has a list-serv that members send emails through. I would like these to be bounced to the forum for databasing purposes.

Anyone have any hints or know of mod?

I've seen a mod here that will allow people to email replies to a thread. It's possible you could modify that.

However, Listservs have run their course. They were outdated 10 years ago, with none of the things we've come to expect like threading & history, and email has been taken over by spam causing way too many troubles with it.

Well, basically the purpose would be to have an email that is sent to the listserv for distribution be posted on the forum as well. This is my senior project: to rid of the listserv.

This capability would help greatly in the move from emails to the forum. As of now I cannot find anything in the mods for this and I have searched alot of different terms.

An even greater help would be to just shut down the listserv and tell everyone to go to the forum. :)
