problem with thread display

I have updated my forums but now there are some news that are pretty annoying

how do I set standard values for this or even turn it off:

Also post in my threads are shown backwards, from newest to oldest (thread starter)
how do I set this too ?

You set how the forums are sorted and the sort order, etc in the Forum Manager for each Forum. Forums & Mods > Forum Manager > select forum > Default View Age, Default Sort Field, Default Sort Order

As for the threads, that is set in your User CP. You can set the default for NEW users in vboptions > Registration Options > Thread Display Mode > Linear - Oldest First

this is much more complex forum than phpbb :S
