IE shows images missing FF shows the images

Ok I am using IE just for secondary browser and on my forum some images comes up with a big red X were on FF I can see the images fine. Why is this? Can it be fixed?

Check the page source. It could be that the image path is incorrect by ff is correcting it, ie is not.
