View Full Version : Carbon Fiber Buttons
Size: 90px/25px | 62px/19px | 35px/19px
Format: .GIF
Available in both dark and light matts.
I had to edit my original posting, attached file and screenshot. I noticed on the "multiquote_on" there was a slight pixel edging around the left side. It wasn't a super big deal and difficult to notice. For whatever reason it was during the saving process. It has since been corrected. I was hoping to catch it before the downloads started. I apologize if it's caused anybody any grief. :)

i wish i knew how to instal them lol
Installation is very easy once you've done it once or twice.
I'm going to use the default theme as an example.
Upload contents of folder (which contains your new buttons) via FTP to /images/buttons. If it asks you if you would like to overwrite, click "yes"
Now, if you have a custom style/theme, you will have to upload to the correct button folder for that particular theme you would like to show these new buttons.
IE: images/yourtheme/buttons

See the post above (4up) for your answer on how to install. If that doesn't help post back and we'll get it sorted.
Excellent. :)
Gonna use it on my Forum.
Thanks a lot.
You are most welcome. Glad you like them :up:

I dumped them into several different folder and we unable to get it to work in 4+
I have very limited experience with vB4. I do believe the new platform buttons are CSS based. It is possible to use a .GIF or .PNG image in that type of set up. Off the top of my head I don't know how to do that though. I would have to play around a bit to figure it out.

That's correct, at the time of the design release vb4 was nothing but a rumour. When I get a chance, I'll go back and see if I can't change that (and the rest of my releases too).

just tried but nothing............. i have version 4.1.3
These graphics are for the three series. I'm sure it's not just a matter of uploading to a folder w/your particular version. Your buttons use a cascading style sheet to render...no graphics needed. If you look at the opening post there is some info regarding releases including what version they apply to.
Edit: I should also mention that I don't venture on here everyday and I don't really have the time to address requests. I have no experience w/vB4 and I am not applying my vB license to a forum currently. Long story even longer, I don't consider myself an active member within the vB community, however I didn't want to remove my releases. For whatever reason that would be a very immature thing to do. Most of my work includes the PSD's to help tailor to suit your needs. Enjoy

Noob question - if I upload these via the above instructions - does this allow me to choose between the default buttons or this set? I want to try them out but dont want to loose the default option. Thanks for any help.
