Individual user permissions?

is there a way so I can set permissions for forum use for one specific user rather than making their own group?

The goal of my forum is for people who create a team for gaming, it makes their own forum for them, very much like the way gametrailers.com has it where people make a group and it creates a private forum for them. That's most specifically what i am looking for.

I'm not familiar with gametrailers but whate version of VB are you using?

I'm pretty sure I saw a mod earlier today for 3.8.x that allowed social group leaders to create forums and be a moderator of them.

Or you can manually create the board for the clan/team/group and assign their "leader" as a moderator.
