Pictures not displayed in Photoshop CS4

Have problems the last few days with Photoshop when I open any image and it does not show anywhere.
I uninstalled CS3, and installed CS4 and it does not help.

I'm pulling my hair out now. Anyone has any suggestion?

I uninstalled CS4 and installed CS3 again. Everything worked.
