what version of VB has this as standard?

Is there a place in the admincp that I can turn it on for the users?

I believe it became standard in 3.8. You can go read the release notes it you want to verify that.

You turn it on in vboptions > user profile options > all users to edit profile privacy.

Yeah it is, only one of mods produced a bug within user CP

That mod is for 3.7, so he may have no plans to upgrade it to 3.8.

Yeah looks like that, mod is working just fine with 3.8.2 but only link 'Profile Privacy' is not displayed
Too bad for mentioned mod, as my users love it :(
