I have 3.8.1 and im getting alot of spammers. I made the word verification on registration. and also email verification, but they still spamming away.

use the question and answer method, stops 99% of all spam. :)

It's a built in feature, read the install manual.

Wow.

There have been several threads about this topic and many of them contain links to modifications that the users are using on their sites. You can try a search on "spam" in "titles only" in this forum and you should find them.

really the worst thing you could do here is say you cant be bothered, as if you cant be bothered with your board why should anyone else be?
