Split Thread Hack v 1.1x?

Has anyone heard about a split hack for 1.1X because i cant upgrade to 2.X

Why can't you upgrade?

If you really can't, then download 2.0.1 and find the code for the split threads stuff (probably moderator.php) and just take that - it won't need many modifications.

Yes i can download the new version, but on my server - on a hosting provider - the scripts time limits and mysql-connections-time limits are to small to update because the db is about 120 MB.
And I cant dump the database because the mysql-connection timed out bevor ist ready.

That is my problem.

You don't need to install it - just open the source code for the latest vB and find the bit for splitting threads, then put it into the old files.

I can't remember exactly but they are certainly similar (in the post/thread table at least).
