Does such a hack exist? A perfect example is the one found at the bottom of the page on http://www.SitePoint.com - however they use UBB...
I think this would be a fabulous addition to a future release, or for just a hack in general...putting something like that on the mainpage of a site would definetely help bring more people into the forums...
