replace the VB logo at the top of the forum ,with my own logo?

If you are using the default style, just make your own logo, upload it, and put the correct path in Style > StyleVars > Title Image

Did you go to the StyleVars page? Use your Find button on your browser. That is what it says on mine - "Title Image"
