Problem after adding new skin

I have being using the default skin for vbulletin since starting one of my sites 2 + years ago.

Today i added a new skin but im having a couple of issues.

In my default skin i have;

google ads at bottom
ebay ads at top
donate button in navbar
ad after first post

When looking at the new skin none of these are visable now, is it supposed to be like this ? Will i have to edit all the associated templates to have these in the new skin ?

You may be using a skin that is not for the same version of vb that you are using. And, you may have made template edits to your default skin to add in stuff and you need to do the same with the new skin. (Or, plugins may have been used to search/replace stuff to add stuff in and now the lines to 'search' are different so no 'replace' is taking place.)
