Default Usergroup

Hi all,

I've created a few custom usergroups.

Is there a way to have newly approved users enter a CUSTOM usergroup instead of "Registered Users"?

I've looked at the various options and I can't see a way to do this.

Or do I just need to change the name of "Registered Users" to fit my ranking system?

I just changed the name of the Registered Users to Moderated Registered Users on my site. Then I promote them to a new Registered Users group. I think that is easiest. However, I think there is a mod that allows you to pick another 'newly approved' usergroup - try searching "usergroup*" in "all mods" "titles only"

Thanks for answering! :) What I did was something similar. I just changed "Registered Users" to "New Members"... hopefully that will work. I should probably test it! :)
