Implement attachment file type

I'm trying to implement the attachment file type to my members area mod but having trouble finding any article on doing it or any recent posts. If anyone knows of an article to explain this or a thread then please post it.

Are you talking about the default settings in vb? If so, read here http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/

Ok I checked the vB online manual and it explains how to play with the attachment file types but gives no indication how to implement the permissions to a custom add-on.
