Can't DOwnload any plugins..getting error. MOD please help

Hi MOD/Admin,

I tried to download the iTrader plugin (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=65730) for my vb forum. but when i click on the attached file i am redirected to a page where its written:

please help me with this issue. i own two vb owned license. i should be able to donwload plugins.

Any modification in the archive forums is not available for download to anybody. That mod is in the 3.0 archives forum.

Why is that, if you don't mind me asking? There's a mod that sent a text message to users phone when they got a PM. I know the mod won't work how it is, but it'd be nice to see how they got the code to work in the first place... :(

I don't know why that is. It's the way it's been ever since I've been coming to this site. Part of it, I would guess, it because the threads are closed to posting and the mods are so old they are no longer supported, so people who download them have no place to post for support.

I will give you the official answer, from the iTrader owner...

I do not distribute that engine on vbulletin.org anymore. There is a new location for this engine to be supported, and you will find the link in my signature.

Reason why it is blocked on vb.org is that the original author dropped the development of the engine, and refuse to let it freely available for people without giving them support. putting it in the graveyard make it unsupported completely, and people are not emailing him each day for support.

and an answer for the "vbulletin 2.0 releases" is easy... Jelsoft is not supporting that version anymore, so why this site would?!... it is 5 years old... update your forum.

oh now i get it. thanks for the answers. so only new plugins are allowed to download right? which are updated daily.

If you want the latest version of iTrader, I suggest you check this thread out (http://vbenhancer.com/itrader/itrader-version-2-5-0-new/4783/)
It's the only working version that I know of
That reminds me, I need to update the version I have. :)
