Age limit to a thread?

Is there a way to have someone verify there are to enter a particular thread? We have a family oreinted site that has an "underground" thread that has a password. Its an 18 and over thread. The admins need to give out the password. I would like to have a way where admins dont need to be involved. I understand anyone can lie but it might atleast take some heat away from me.
