... otherwise, click the styles tab. You'll find many styles there ...
They're not THAT hard to upgrade to 3.8.1 or 3.8.2. There's very little changes to a few template per version change.

yes yes.. i should have specified.. something (no wait) sometin' :p besides the skins presented here..

Tons of free skins if you use google or just search here. I posted a url to a page of style links the other day (I have no idea what version). There are also a ton of links to sites over on vb.com for skins.

Look up Sultan Themes as well, he has quite a few that are free and pretty decent IMO... Lynne is right though, Google is your friend!

If I remember I'll post up some bookmarks/links later on.
