Stopping only new members having a sig time or post related

ive checked all over for this kinda mod and cant find any settings built in... is there a mod to stop new members having sig's till they have a few posts of after a week - month ect.

hope that makes sense, as i'm getting alot of spammers just registring to stick the link in there profile page.

Its all built into the AdminCP.

Usergroups > registered members > restrict the sig pics.

The setup a promotion (under the usergroups tab) to move them into new usergroup when a certain time/post count has been reached.

i can't belive i have been using this software for over a year and only just discovered the promotion feature because of your post above, i feel pretty dumb :(
