Profile Enhancements - RTM's MySpace Music Player In Profile(Working)!!! [Archive]

Hi,
I've recently been searching for a mod to add any MySpace MUSIC Player In Profile To Gain More Views And Clicks.... After Being Unsuccessful, being that the Mod that claims to do this does not work, i've come up with a way to get it to work... I dont know how to make plugins so i apologize on the few edits........

First Things First...

Go into your admincp>>>>user profile fields>>>>add new user profile field

Title: MySpace plid
Description: Your Myspace plid number.
Single Line Text Box
Required: No
Editable: Yes

Save>>>>>then add new user profile field

Title: MySpace profid
Description: Your Myspace profid number.
Single Line Text Box
Required: No
Editable: Yes

Save.

Then go into your Member Info Template>>>MEMBERINFO

Find:
$template_hook[profile_right_first]

Add Above:
<if condition="$userinfo[fieldX]">
<if condition="$userinfo[fieldX]">

<div class="thead block_title">

Replace the "X's" with the proper user profile ID's.

If your member has nothing for those spaces, it will not show up in the profile at all due to conditionals.

The way to explain to your members how to add their own or someone elses is...
Once your looking at the music player you want, click the pop up icon on the top right corner of the player, look carefully at the link, and youll see the plid and profid numbers in the link...

x is the number of the fields you created befor :)

When you create a profile field, it will give you a profile ID #. That number is what you place instead of the "x" within your code. Then, if your user (or you when you're testing it) places the "plid" and "profid" numbers in the appropriate fields, you'll see the mod active.

Don't see why it wouldn't be, MySpace has embed files.
Most of the people on my site use their own player from myspace and you can use anyones music in your myspace profile, if you link me to where its NOT legal, then let me know and i'll delete this modification... otherwise enjoy!

Ok and the code YOU posted is wrong... you forgot to fix fieldX and fieldX twice... if its 6 and 7 then you need to put 6 and 7 in the two seperate places...at the bottom of the code and the top...

then... you need to go to the myspace music player you want...
click the popout box.... then find the profid and plid numbers and enter them into your usercp..

Love this mod but is there anyway to have a set default player play? with use of <if> or <else /> tags?

Anybody? I got it showing my default player on profiles with no user field inputs but on the ones with input it shows both players.
