I've been having an issues with allowing myself the administrator to post HTML in my forum. I have it turned off for all normal users, but now I can't even post html in my own threads?
Does anyone know how I can turn this on for only Admin? I already tried going into usergroup >> permissions and checking yes for html for the admin, but when i tried posting it on one of my threads it just showed up as text, not the youtube video i was trying to embed.
Please help!
Thanks:confused:

If you are able to only have it on for Admins, then you are using a modification. Default vB doesn't allow you to only turn it on for Admins.

forum manager > select forum to edit > allow html
Allow HTML Code in posts
This allows users to use HTML while posting. It is strongly recommended that you DO NOT turn this on as it can severely compromise security and/or severely mess up layout if users insert malformed HTML. Even if you set this to Yes, users still cannot use certain tags, including javascript: and about:.

Yes, I know. That is why I said you would have to have a modification to only allow html for the admins. You can do a search here in "all mods" "titles only" and you should find one.
