We've just installed vbAdvanced and are finding it incredibly complicated to do even the most basic of tasks, like integrating modules with the forum etc.

A previous forum we had used TinyPortal in conjunction with Simple Machines forum and it was very easy to understand.

Can anybody suggest something more user-friendly to work with vBulletin 3.8?

Subdreamer is a great, but it's less of a "portal" and more of a standalone CMS that integrates with vBulletin.

Safari tells me that site isn't safe to visit for some reason.

I'm tempted to hold out for the announced vBulletin CMS.

That's really weird.

Subdreamer's WYSIWYG editor doesn't work in Safari anyway - so it's probably for the best. Then again, maybe you should get the best browser ever: Opera (http://www.opera.com).
