Hello, kind community. I've been lurking for a few days and I love all the resources. I never knew that I would have so much help in transitioning from working on basic websites (a private school, a college dorm, etc.) to something more elaborate. So here's my problem: I have 3 skins to select from and I wanted to make one a condensed version, so I wanted to remove all ad banners on top of each subforum, and I also wanted to have a different set of images show up for the reputation instead of the current image which is a bit bigger so I'm just trying a few ways to save loading time. Any idea what template I have to edit? Or if I even have to edit a template? Thanks for the help.

Nevermind... I think that the vB Ad Management mod should take care of this.

Nevermind again... the Ad Management system does not seem to allow for the specific setting that I am looking for. So I suppose I'll go ahead and bump this in case people think I solved the problem.

Just depends on the theme you have. Usually it is in the header or navbar .

forumdisplay to remove the banners above the sub-forums, and change the rep images via ftp

a link to the site might help us help you

Sure thing. I just hope I'm not breaking any rules by doing so. It's why I haven't yet.

We have 4 skins to choose from, and the one called "dark_vb" is the one we're trying to condense and make more "discrete". The banners that still show up in the subforums is what we're trying to eliminate. Thanks again.
