Page title stays same even with different posts open? SEO?

Hello to all,

So quick question. I have been to many vb forums where when you click on a post the title of the page changes to that thread title.

Is this something good for SEO?

Also is this a mod or something that VBSEO does?

I guess what I mean is when you click on a thread here at VB.org, the title changes to whatever that thread title is. I am trying to do that.
