Hi. In vB when you click on the number of a post, it shows just the specific post on a thread. For example:

http://windows7center.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3185&postcount=45

How do you make it so that instead of JUST showing that post, it will go to the thread page, but load it so that the browser is already scrolled to the post you were referring to?

If you have vbseo, there's a function called permalinks which does exactly that; other than that, I don't know.

Once u get this link:
http://windows7center.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3185&postcount=45

Click on the top right link where it says: Thread: Windows 7 build 7061 in the wild!

And then you will get this link in your brower address bar:

http://windows7center.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3185#post3185

When clicked that will scroll the browser after opening the thread.
