Search strings like "10.5.8"?

Search strings like "10.5.8" do not work in our forum. Unfortunately such strings are software versions and users search quite often for them. Is there a syntax to find strings like that?

if that string is in text in a post or title, you need to put everything in like this: "10.5.8" with the "" ... the search engine will consider it as a term, and not as a numbers.
