Hi all,

The wysiwyg editor doesn't work in Internet Explorer 7 when posting a new thread on my forum, e.g. when I click the buttons, nothing happens. Apparently this has to do with some error in the javascript or something. In Firefox everything works fine.

When I change the settings: Message posting interface options -> Enable clickable message formatting control and set them all to 'enable standard controls' (so without the wysiwyg) the buttons work, but when I roll over the buttons and roll out, their backgrounds turn black.

Does anyone know what is going on here? I have vBulletin 3.6.8, and we do not have the time/resources to upgrade right now.

Thanks!!

Create a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If it works fine in the default style, then the problem is your style and you'll have to look at the templates on the page that you have modified.
