multiple page thread - too many links (in thread)

hi,
for threads that have many pages...
how could it be fixed that the list of page links is not showing up completely
and so stops blowing up the design? :D

i found only an option to limit the amount of page links
in the forum view... but not for page navigation inside the thread.

(i use vb3.7.4)

vboptions > general settings > number of pages visible in page navigator

Number of Pages Visible in Page Navigator
On thread and forum pages, as well as private messaging lists and other places, if there are multiple page number links to be displayed, this setting determines how many are shown on either side of the page currently being viewed. Setting this to 0 will cause all page links to be displayed.
