About me

Feel free to visit me at my forum at http://parlancia.com. I'm also a member of the Skins4Forums team located at http://skins4forums.com

About Vampyre

Heres a style for you who own forum centered around vampires, or things of the supernatural, or just enjoy a good black 'n' red style. With slick graphics mixed with text based buttons, it may have something for everyone.

Installation Instructions

How to install 'Vampyre' on your vBulletin 3.8.1 and vBAdvanced 3.1.0.

1) Upload the file called 'Vampyre' to your forum ROOT.

i.e if your forums are located at 'http://mysite.com/forums' then vampyre needs to be at 'http://mysite.com/forums/vampyre'

2) Go to your vBulletin AdminCP -> Styles and Templates -> Download/Upload Styles and import the XML

3) Thats it, you're done.

Note: DO NOT UPLOAD THE EXTRAS FOLDER, it is for resources only.

===Optional===

If you need add a logo inside the frame, please make a logo.png and upload it to the 'vampyrebg' folder, then go to your AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Vampyre -> Header and find the commented out (<!-- code -->) part there, and remove the comment (<!-- code -->)

If you need to change the logo that is outside the frame, please edit the 'bgvamps.psd' located in the extras folder, and when you're done save it as 'vampyrebg.png' and overwrite the one that is already in the 'vampyre/vampyrebg'.

There are two backgrounds for this style, if you'd prefer, to change these, go to the additional CSS definitions. Find:

background: #000 url(vampyre/vampyrebg/vampyrebg.png) top center

and replace it with

background: #000 url(vampyre/vampyrebg/vampyrebg2.png) top center

Compatibility

Tested extensively and supported for FireFox users.
Tested briefly on the latest version of Internet Explorer, I will not be supporting IE due to the fact that I don't use it enough to be able to troubleshoot effectively.
Tested briefly on the beta version of Google Chrome, I will not be supporting Chrome due to the fact that I don't use it enough to be able to troubleshoot effectively.

If anyone is an Opera or Safari user and wish to tell me if they work, feel free.

Can this be made to be a non-fixed width? I much prefer a full-screen approach.

Due to the skins frame, I'm afraid it can only be fixed width. Sorry
