Layout question

I have been trying to condense the forum structure we have a bit. Currently the page is structured like the first attached pic. I want it to lay out where everything falls as a sub category like the second pic. I am not sure if that is something that gets modified in the theme or is an add on of some type. Not even really sure what its called... :rolleyes:

Via the forums manager edit "the battlefield series" and change if from a category to a forum, then edit the other listed forums in the 1st attachment pic and make their parent forum "the battle field series"
