Is there a way to select which specific forums the New Posts link in the CMPS Welcome Block draws from? I'm trying to exclude links to my RSS news feed forums ...
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

ACP => vBa CMPS => Edit Modules => {News} Edit Module => News Forum(s)
It only pulls from the forums specified in the settings so at some point your RSS feed forums must have been added.

Thanks for the reply ... unfortunately, it didn't seem to work.
It was set to draw from all forums (including RSS Forums) by default, so I went in and selected only the forums I wanted to draw from. New posts from my RSS forums are still appearing in the New Posts link within the vBa CMPS Welcome Block, however.

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

I think I understand what you're referring to, but just in case ...
The only caching settings I’m aware of are in:
CP > CMPS > Default Settings > Main Options > Enable Homepage Caching for Guests
That has been set at -0- (no caching) all along, which I believe is what you are suggesting? Also, fwiw, I continue to get threads pulled from the forums I tried to deactivate per your suggestion several hours ago.
If you are referring to something else, I humbly beg further guidance. :)

As a forum owner myself I understand why this is important and apologize if my request is misplaced. So you know, I did ask this question first over at the vBa CMPS forum (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34303) a few days ago, but received no reply.
If there is somewhere else you recommend I should turn, please let me know. It’s just that in my experience, the usual response when any vB-related question proves difficult is “ask at vbulletin.org.” You have a reputation, I’m afraid. :)

Some slip by. :)
Let's continue this over there then.
