It sort of depends on what changes have been made to the database, if any.

What errors did you get when trying to upgrade? These can usually be sorted quite easily once we know what's happening. Or at least we can tell you if it looks totally screwed!

I did upload the "upload" files in the zip folder. After than i followed the instructions. I got couple database error messages.

This is one of them ;

Database error in vBulletin 3.5.4:

Invalid SQL:

SELECT
post.*, post.username AS postusername, post.ipaddress AS ip, IF(post.visible = 2, 1, 0) AS isdeleted,
user.*, userfield.*, usertextfield.*,
icon.title as icontitle, icon.iconpath,
avatar.avatarpath, NOT ISNULL(customavatar.userid) AS hascustomavatar, customavatar.dateline AS avatardateline,customavatar.width AS avwidth,customavatar.height AS avheight,
level,
deletionlog.userid AS del_userid, deletionlog.username AS del_username, deletionlog.reason AS del_reason,
editlog.userid AS edit_userid, editlog.username AS edit_username, editlog.dateline AS edit_dateline,
editlog.reason AS edit_reason,
post_parsed.pagetext_html, post_parsed.hasimages,
IF(displaygroupid=0, user.usergroupid, displaygroupid) AS displaygroupid

So I have found this solution messages ;

I have fixed it, after I noticed that the upgrade from 3.5.4 to 3.6.0 Beta 1 has renamed the table "post_parsed" to "postparsed"

To fix it I have renamed the postparsed to post_parsed by this syntax:

ALTER TABLE postparsed RENAME post_parsed

After doing that, i was able to reach my forum. But everything was change.

For example;

1- when i hit the "new posts" link i got "There are no unread threads. " this message all the time.

2- There is a little arrow which says " go to last post " when i hit that arrow i got this " No subject specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

3- Before the upgrade i was using a dropdown navlink menu. But after the upgrade my drop down got dissapeared.

And they advised me to these ;

You need to update your counters under Maintenance -> Update Counters as specified during the upgrade process.

For your missing link, you would most likely need to add that code back into your templates.

Reverse your templates

I also did everything Vbulletin Team told me but i still have the same problems.
I got really stuck and don't know what to do...:(

You can not just go change table names and expect things to still work.

I doubt anyone official vB team member will tell you to change the table names.
