Hit new install instead of upgrade

Hi All,

Unfortunately I followed the install link half way through (to the point where it asks for an admin login to be created) instead of upgrade by mistake I then followed the upgrade link and now everything is missing from my forum - I checked the db and all the data (users etc) is still present - but vbulletin doesnt seem to be pulling any of it from the db - I have checked the config.php file and this is fine - I have also tried re uploading 3.8.1 and this has had no effect

(my previous version was 3.7.3)

Just restore the database from the backup you made before attempting the upgrade (you did make a backup, right?) and then redo the upgrade.

I checked the db and all the data (users etc) is still present Then you have been looking in a different database (or with wrong prefix). If you ran the install script until after the first warning that the database is not empty (you are warned and have to click on a link to confirm that you want to delete the current database and start with new tables), then there is no data at all left in the database.
