Please Update your help codes to PHP!

I just recently begun to Admin vB for our site, being new to all this & learning as I go. After many hours of searching for answers, which btw the vB community does an awesome job of, I have found that most of the post with code in them to help ppl find where to add or edit code is in regular html & the new version of vB is in PHP language.

It makes it very difficult to find & edit problems when the help post code is in html & you got to the template which is in PHP.

Again, I want to thank the vB community & modders for answering all my questions & getting me up to speed, I have yet to have a problem you didn't solve, but it may help the repetative questions if the some of the help threads were updated or perhaps a PHP section was added to the forums.

There is a programming help forum, but we don't regulate that any PHP code must be placed within the [ php ] tags. Many may use the [ code ] tags, but it's still PHP.

I suppose I'll contribute some to, and let you know that the template code isn't PHP but is indeed HTML :D

Perhaps its the latest version of vB then, as many of the codes are not exactly the same as in the help threads. I was attempting to edit one of the award mods and was stumped as I couldn't find the code in the template to replace with the edit code, there was a few characters that matched, but not all, so I was unsure where exactly to begin & end.

Thankfully I was able to contact the maker of that mod, who helped me get it working properly. And I'm not in the least unhappy with the help that I've received, as I stated, every issue I've had, someone here has helped me through it.

I was just stating that some of the older help threads may need to be updated to match the latest release of vB, that was my only concern. You guys are doing a great job & I'm glad to be a part of the community.
