Using 3.8.1

Updating some styles, and I set my options to only use one style. My IE users only get that style, but Firefox users get the style I USED to use as my default. FF users cleared their cache and still got the same thing. Also, whenever FF users try to change styles, none of them ever work, but all are current styles.

Do I have something set wrong? Ideas to explore please? THANKS

To the top.....help please.

Installing a new style. It works and looks great in IE. In FF, it doesnt load for some users, for others, it doesnt load right.

I don't understand, is the issue in the first post replaced with the issue in the second post or is that just an added issue? How about a link to one of these styles that doesn't load for some users?

Let me clarify. I have added several styles to my site. However, FF users can try to change the style, but it all stays the same for them. Where do I look?

So, you have a few styles installed. They show up in the dropdown box at the bottom of the page. IE users can change these styles and everything is fine. ff users change a style and the old style continues to show up. Is that the problem?

How about a link to the forum and a test account to login with. Also, make sure the link to the css page in the page source is correct (take a look in the page source to see what the link is and verify it is correct).

I just tried vbTester as username and Test as password and it still doesn't work. Perhaps you should check it yourself to make sure it works.

I did test them and I was able to log in fine.

I JUST used this one...

Name:
Vbtest

Password:
Test

Sorry for the troubles.

I'm sorry, but I just tried five more times and got the "You have entered an invalid username or password." message. I don't know why, but it is not working for me. (It's a bright red style - could the style not be working correctly?) I tried at http://www.supernissans.net/forums and then I tried at http://www.supernissans.net/ but then I got the 404 error regarding the login file.

^^^

It seems the user/pass is: Vbtest/test (he/she may not realize the password is case sensitive).

As per the problem mentioned, upon logging in, both browsers showed Supernissans Red as the default and both rendered it the exact same. But when changing the skin from the pulldown at the bottom, in IE it did change the skin to the desired one but in Firefox it kept it as the Red while stating that the skin was changed.

The only thing I can think of is possibly you removing something in the javascript functions file or something to the tune? Sorry it's a very uncertain thing unless you can maybe list/backtrace what you did that resulted in this problem.

I didn't even think to try an all lower-case password. Thanks for figuring that out.

You might want to fix the errors from html validation - http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.supernissans.net%2Fforu ms%2Findex.php&charset=(detect+automatically)&doctype=Inline&group=0 It could be that one of those is causing the problem.
