I would like to see something added to the templates page when you click on a specific template and edit it that the resulting page generated by the template would be displayed. Instead of submitting the page you are given a preview button that you can click on to see what the final page will look like.
For example, if you are editing the forumdisplay template and you want to see what it will look like before it hits the forum you would be given a preview button, in addition to the submit and reset buttons, that would then give you the page as it will appear before you submit it.
So it would open up another browser window, let you see what you have just done to the page, and then allow you to submit it.
This would keep you from having to submit the edited template, then go to your browser and open up the page in question, and then go back to the template for more editing, if necessary.
Any ideas on how to implement this?
