How to make forum private and a business?

I am starting a website to sell things and wanted to also add this forum to the site. But I need to make the forum for members only and only registration allowed to those who pay the yearly fee. Is this possible to do? How?

I want the forum private to non members and once someone registers and pays via Paypal or Shopping cart, they will be able to log on

You could do this with the built in subscriptions and promotion system.

Deny "guests and registered users" access to everything, except maybe one forum promoting your product or service. Then after that, send them the link to subscribe and once they pay using the built in vBulletin subscription system, they'll automatically be updated to the usergroup that has access to everything.

You could even do tierd memberships if you wanted. Say if someone only pays $10 they get half the access that someone who paid $20 does :D

As soon as the payment is completed through whatever payment processor, the user is automatically moved into another usergroup, you do not need to manually add users.
