RSS feed question

Just wondering if anyone knows how to pull an rss feed of the threads onto a website, I am wanting to add feeds to the main page just to let people know what is going on if that makes sense before they even come to the forum section

is there a way to exclude certain forums ?

I don't believe exclude is a valid parameter, however you may specify it be from only certain forums:

http://www.yoursite.com/forum/external.php?type=xml&forumids=1,2,3,4
