We run an automotive enthusiast forum and we're pretty noobish at doing so. On the bright side, we're growing every day but as of a few days ago, I've recieved complaints that a few members cannot see the images that are being attached. Instead, they may see something like this: Attachment 359. They can't click on it or anything. Anyone experience this or have a solution? We don't have too many attachments and most are JPEGs numbering about 360 or so.

Make sure they have permissions in Attachments > Attachment Permissions Also, they may have Display Images off if you do not have it turned on by default in vboptions > User Registration Options > Default Reg Options

My first guess is that it is the users browser settings. If some people that can see the attachments are in the same usergroup as the people that can't see, I would say its a browser problem. Just a thought. Can you see all the attachments?

Yes, I can see attachments and most of my staff and members can as well. The two people that cannot (two that I know of) can see some attachments but not all of them. Very strange.

I suppose I should also say that the attachments are in a forum that one has to activate in their user cp in order to be a part of. It's like a separate user group.

Did you check the attachment permissions for that usergroup in that specific forum?

Yes, I checked the attachment permissions for the usergroup...and it appears people can upload attachments and view some as well. I only have 2 users that seem to be having trouble viewing the attachments. I'm starting to think it could be their browsers. One is using Firefox and the other IE LOL!??

Do they have images disabled in the user cp?
