Hello,

I have been wondering about something and hope that I can get some clarification or opinions on it...

First, do not misunderstand, I am not knocking or dismissing any of the coders work on the mods I have seen, I am simpy just trying to understand and looking for a way to do what I want to do.

My question is...what is the purpose of mods like PayPal Easy Donate (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=174010&highlight=donate) or Cyb - PayPal Donate (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=177563&highlight=donate)? What make using one of these different than just making a page and adding code from PayPal to a button on the page?

I want to have a page that explains where the donation will go depending on the amount and then have a button link to my PayPal account and the same with a membership subscription levels page. Both of the mentioned mods look nice but I am just a bit confused as to the purpose of one way over the other. If anyone can clear this up for me I would appreciate it so that I can get on with my donations page.

Thank you and sorry for the probably silly question,
Kimberly

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

Well thank you Marco,

However, I didn't have any problems with any particular mod or style. I was really just simply asking for opinions & input from other users on the different ways to set up for donations.

I apologize, I will ask somewhere else.

Thanks again,
Kimberly

The authors (and the members using the modifications) are the only ones who can answer your question.

Understood. I purchased one that does what I need it to do and a whole lot more including support and updates. So, problem is solved.

Thank you for your time and direction
