i still not understand what is User ID changer ?

User ID Changer is a Professional File which is change the member number from your database also you didn't lose any post or any thread of both Users

Is installation/uninstallation easy?

For what can I use this hack?

If you want to change your user number
EX:
You have member number 1 (who install vBulletin forum) but you need to make your account is number 1 but you can't because already have account number 1
Also User ID Changer not only for change any user number from any number to number 1 NO you can change any user namber to any new user number

Sure But i strongly recommended take a backup first of your database if happens any problem

That's because your tables are more than 167 table i recommended take a backup first

I Want to Use This What Should I do first ?

1- Upload Changemyid.php to your forum root (Forums/)
2- Take Backup Of your database
3- Turn Off Your Forum
4- After Update The User ID Make sure Please Update Your Counters
5- Turn On Your Forum

hmmm sound's like this would be a good mod, would save a lot of time manually fixing data through SQL, but I still think there are probably some unresolved bugs.

May sound stupid but why someone would want to change user's ID ? For adminin that's normally ID 1 would make some sense but what difference can it make if a user is ID 200 or 500 ?

Just to make it clear, my question is just trying to realise some application for it and not making a joke or something about this mod. You know, if you spend your time coding something like that, it should be a good reason for, and that's what I want to figure out

Thanks Marco, I've tagged this mod. Like I said, it called my attention 'cause I thought nobody would waste time coding something like for a simple application. Ok, maybe superstition ones that don't like numbers like 13, 666, or 444.....lol....

ti07shadow, it's basically the same but don't forget users' IDs are relatated to several things on your data base, like User Posts,Threads,PM,Avatar, etc. If you just do that for an inactive user not problem but if you do that with an user with tons of posts, pictures, etc, you're gonna scroll this guy life on your board.

That's what this mod proposes to do, not just simply change an user ID but keep all together.

I would imagine that would only happen if you don't correct the information in every one of the tables. I've never had a problem changing my user id's manually using SQL. Like I said either way this hack will save a lot of time if I ever had to do it again.
